I write because I can’t make sense of this world, or the people in it, until I work it out on paper.

Sheets & Ink is where I reflect as I rediscover my love (and loathing) of the craft of writing. From writing my first novel, to exploring identity, and sharing my favorite books, shows, and movies, this is a place to capture my thoughts, untangle my feelings, and just work shit out.

This is my third (or fourth? I don’t know, I’ve lost track at this point) iteration of an online journal of sorts. I spent most of my adolescence on LiveJournal, transitioned to WordPress in my 20s, and spent inordinate amounts of time connecting with other writers over our experiences with life, love, confusion, loss, and joy. I’ve culled some of my favorites from that era and buried them on this blog.
